What is new about the HTML ImageMapper NG2?

Extensive export to Google Earth

The new version emphasizes the meaning of Google Earth as a geo browser. GIS projects can now be completely exported to Google Earth with all their GIS attributes.
Your project and data will be saved as a KML- or KMZ-file, layer by layer, object by object with the attribute information.
While in the previous version all the vector data of the GIS could only be placed as a screenshot in the grid format of Google Earth, you can now export all layers individually or all together as interactive vector layers or grid overlay.

improved authoring system

The new interface of the authoring system is very well structured and makes it easy even for the unexperienced user export his GIS projects to the web or Google Earth.

Map scales are now individually configurable

The initial map detail as well as the initial scale can be just as easily set as the additional scale levels you want to export for the requested zoom levels. That way it is possible for the first time to export your application according to the official scale (1: 1 Mio, 1:500.000, 1:200.000, 1:100.000, 1:50.000, 1:25.000). Inter scales can be left out to ensure faster zooming in.

Configure publication of attribute data similar to a form letter

The tabular data from the attribute table can now be integrated into continuous text, similar to MS Word's form letters. The attribute export dialog allows to use all HTML tags for formatting. A wizard supplies you with templates for tables and continuous text.

More controll over the overview map

An over the browser floating overview map with a crosshair always lets the user know where his current map extent is in relation to the context. This overview map can be designed even prettier and more exact within the authoring system and can be previewed from the authoring system within the publishing process.

Define batch processing and recurrent exports as a Windows task.

If your data changes periodically it is now easy to update the published web maps and Google Earth files as well. This process can now be simplified and automated. The settings can be saved and made available to a batch manager which can be configured as a Windows task. Just leaver your computer running over night and the task manager starts ArcGIS and ImageMapper automatically, opens the MXD-project, exports the files again and closes the application. Let your mashine do reoccuring work over and over.
