What's new in HTML ImageMapper 9.2?

The new HTML output is much more attractive, like GoogleMaps! It is not only the awesome and most practicable map style - it is just fun to browse the maps. You can see all the map attributes simply and easily by moving the mouse over the different map features. Of course, the advanced programming users get a chocolate cake as well: Now there is a brand new batch routine. These two new features are only a few of all the new ones included.

Dynamic Attributes
In version 9.2, the attributes are shown on the fly directly linked to the mouse pointer.

They show up, like in GoogleMaps, in speech bubbles. The attributes immediately pop up by moving over a selectable map element. They can be fixed on the spot by clicking, so several different attributes can be shown at the same time.

Dashboard
If you have fixed attributes on the spot, you can even fix them on a dashboard. So the information can easily be stored beside the map for good comparison and a free view of the map.

Press the pin needle in the speech bubble to make this happen. It works also the other way round:

Map features can be located by selecting the attributes on the dashboard.

Batch Routine
For much more effective working, now there is a batch routine in version 9.2. With this routine, it is possible to automate your daily work. This becomes handy if you have to update your maps or if you want to design maps with similar map styles. With this tool, there will be great continuity in your map projects.

Using the Visual Basic Editor, you can remotely start up ArcMap and your HTML ImageMapper in batch mode. Sample code is provided.

Theme Browser 1.2
This easy to use but nevertheless very useful tool is included in the HTML ImageMapper 9.2 software. It is designed for the combination of several map projects and, for example, comes in very handy, if you want to show different maps with the same area but temporally development.

Easy To Use
In the new version, the HTML ImageMapper dialog is even straighter forward. Similar options are now grouped, so the new features were easily put in. As in modern web styles, frames are dismissed, so the map layout is still more comfortable, clearly and easy to use.

Xhtml-Compatibility
As expected, the web output from the HTML ImageMapper 9.2 is fully xhtml compatible. Because of this, all maps created with the HTML ImageMapper can be easily and without any trouble included in complex xhtml web projects.
