ArcView GIS to your online GIS application: |

Step 0:
Create your map in ArcView GIS and load the HTML ImageMapper
extension
|
|
|
|
Step 1:
Specify the desired output size, by pulling the View
window on this size. After that define your output-extent
by 'zooming' an 'paning'
|
|
|
|
Step 2:
Start HTML ImageMapper with the 'yellow-hand-symbol'
|
|
|
|
Step 3:
Just use the smart default settings and create the
map!
|
|
|
|
or make detailed settings yourself:
Step 3:
Choose the zoom level (from 100 to 1600%).
|
|
|
|
Step 4:
Choose the click actions, such as 'Display Attributes',
'Link to URL, 'Link to Email', 'Link to Database' etc..
|
|
|
|
Step 5:
Choose from several click properties. They can be
set differently for the 100% level and the other zoom
levels. In addition you can choose which fields should
be exported.

Step 6:
Choose the map layout from templates and enter comments.
|
|
|
|
Step 7:
Determine the look of the attribute table and save
them as HTML template. These settings are automatically
saved in a stylesheet file (format.css), so you can
adapt the layout afterwards.

Step 8:
Choose your settings for the output such like legend,
overview map, scale bar or your logo to be viewed in
the output.
If the web users should be able to search the attributes,
activate the 'Include Search' option.

|
Step 9:
Choose your output directory. You can process a preview
before processing the whole map.
|
|
|
|
Step 10:
Save your settings in a batch-file, to simplify recurring
work-sequences
|
|
|
|
Step 11:
Create the map!
|
|
|
|
Step 12:
Browse the result!
|
|
|
|
A legend is automatically created
the original!
