How to use HTML ImageMapper
With few steps from ArcGIS to the internet and to Google Earth: A wizard-based menu makes it easy to make all necessary settings step by step. If you want things to go even faster, you can simply accept the default settings and get a result immediately by clicking on “Start”.
The way from ArcGIS to the internet
Step 1: Create your map in ArcGIS and load the HTML ImageMapper extension.
Do all the cartography in ArcGIS. HTML ImageMapper will use all the layer and project specific properties such as scale dependent layer visibility and scale dependent size of symbols and labels.
Step 2: Select the map section in the authoring system on the “Mapping” index tab.

Step 3: Accept the default settings and create your HTML file immediately!

or make detailed settings yourself:
Step 4: Select the index tab “General Settings”. Select "HTML" and "Google Earth KML".

Step 5: Turn all existing layers clickable and select “Show attributes” as click function.

Step 6: Click on the index tab "KML Export". Select some layer to be exported. If you want you can take some further settings or just leave the default settings.

Step 8: Press START!

Step 9: Take a look at the result!
